Discover baby products interactively: The new BabyForum product guide

In April, FOKUS KIND Medien launched the new interactive product guide (in German) in Austria's largest parents' community This is a platform on which baby products can be experienced in a completely new way: In addition to comprehensive information supported by images, videos and reviews, mothers and fathers can also view their desired products in augmented reality. This allows them to experience the child seat, buggy or baby cot in their own living room.

Community: Relying on experience

Parents trust the recommendations of other parents. More than 60% of all parents recommend products to their friends and acquaintances; 80% say that they share recommendations with others online*. Over 500,000 pregnant women and parents use the forums throughout DACH - and now have the opportunity to contribute their experiences to the product guide for the respective product. This is done in the form of likes, comments, or simply by using the "Got it" function. These options create authentic recommendations that offer future parents a solid information base for their purchase decision. Unlike social media, the reviews can also be found on the open internet via search engines. In addition, users can also put the products on a watch list. And with just one click, parents can go to the manufacturer's website if they are interested in buying.

The innovative use of 3D and AR product integration with the industry solution ARkid rounds off the product experience. However, it not only fulfills the gamification aspect, but also solves practical problems in the product-finding process: Will the pram fit in my boot? Or the child seat in the new car? It gives parents the best possible information, which in turn reduces mispurchases and returns.

We use these factors and enhance them with an interactive product experience. A new showcase for brands

Brands from the baby industry benefit from the wide reach of the product leader through the existing communities in their target group. They also benefit from the opportunity to present their products in a detailed and exciting way.

Currently, over 25 international premium brands such as Britax Römer, Ergobaby, MAM Baby, Bugaboo, tfk, Stokke, Thule, Joolz, Easywalker, BeSafe are listed in the directory with a selection of their products. In addition, there are larger and smaller design brands such as Ehrenkind, Jupiduu, Lässig and Leander. Advertising partners of the FOKUS KIND media network were able to have their products listed in advance free of charge. Companies that have implemented AR models in the past with ARkid, the AR/VR/3D agency of FOKUS KIND Medien, also had the opportunity to integrate them.
